UCLA Travel has increased the level of scrutiny being placed on travel expense reimbursements, particularly as the campus falls under increased scrutiny by campus auditors. We would like to request that all travelers consult the CENS Administrative offices at the time you learn you will be taking a trip (whether to a conference or local travel involving car and/or vehicle rentals). We can advise you of potential pitfalls to avoid that will ensure you receive your full reimbursement as quickly as possible.

As always, we recommend booking your airfare through UCLA travel and allowing CENS to prepay this expense. At the same time, we can give you a quick list of do’s and don’ts to make your process painless. This information can also be found on the CENS internal web page.
